Hollow rotating platform

2025-05-21

The bearings used in hollow rotating platforms feature a crossed roller structure. Also known as cross roller bearings, they utilize cylindrical rollers arranged in a crisscross pattern on the raceways. The rollers are spaced apart by retainers or isolation blocks, offering high rotational precision, large load capacity, compact dimensions, and high rigidity. This type of bearing can withstand multidirectional loads, including axial loads, radial loads, and tilting moments. Crossed roller bearings for hollow rotating platforms are well-suited for applications such as the joints or rotating parts of industrial robots, rotary worktables of machining centers, rotating sections of robotic arms, rotary tables, turrets, and medical equipment.

The crossed roller bearings for hollow rotating platforms (with integrated inner and outer rings, both featuring mounting holes) eliminate the need for fixing flanges and support seats during installation. Because both the inner and outer rings have an integral structure, the installation process has no impact on the bearing's performance, ensuring stable rotational accuracy and torque. This design is suitable for applications where either the inner or outer ring rotates. When applied to hollow rotating platforms, it is primarily used with the inner ring fixed in place, while the outer ring is equipped with a gear or a worm gear mechanism for rotation.
