Low friction torque precision miniature bearings are applied in high - tech fields such as aerospace and precision instruments and meters. These bearings are required to have a long service life and high reliability. Due to the particularity of the application parts, the lubrication of the bearings generally adopts solid lubrication or thin - oil lubrication methods.

Bearings for instruments and meters are mainly used in sensors, outdoor weather instruments, level instruments, marking instruments, and infrared instruments, etc.

1. Precision bearings for instruments and meters above ABEC5 grade are generally used.

2. The friction torque of the bearings is required to be small; they are called miniature friction - free bearings.

3. Since the load is very small, fatigue and service life do not need to be considered for bearings of instruments and meters, but there are certain requirements for noise; the instrument and meter industry generally requires highly sensitive miniature bearings.

4. When selecting the bearing fit, the influence of load on the service life does not need to be considered, but mainly the influence of the thermal expansion of the shaft and shaft assembly should be considered. Therefore, a fit with a small interference should be selected.

5. The working clearance of the bearing is small or zero, but negative clearance should be avoided to prevent increased friction and temperature rise.
