Cross roller bearings, also called crisscross roller bearings, use cylindrical rollers as rolling elements arranged in a crisscross layout on raceways. The rollers are spaced apart by retainers or spacer blocks. These bearings deliver high rotational accuracy and heavy load capacity, with a wide scope of applications.
Cross roller bearings can withstand axial loads, radial loads, overturning moments and other combined loads. Their rigidity is 3 to 4 times higher than that of conventional bearings. Featuring compact dimensions with outstanding load-bearing performance, they are widely used in CNC rotary tables, multi-axis CNC turntables, rotary tool magazines, industrial robots, robot joints, special robot joints, hollow rotary platforms, alignment machine platforms, radar communication equipment and other equipment.
RU (YDRU) series cross roller bearings are provided with mounting holes on both inner and outer rings. No fixing flanges or support pedestals are required, which greatly simplifies installation. The inner and outer rings are designed as integrated components to ensure stable rotational accuracy and consistent torque. They are applicable to operating scenarios where either the outer ring or inner ring rotates.
